Our house is on 3 acres on the east side of the road. We have many trees that shed leaves in the fall, but I also get a lot of leaves blowing from neighbor's woods. In years past, my granddaughters would help me. They pulled the Agri-fab lawn sweep behind the golf cart, and we shoveled leaves into my 6 by 8 utility trailer that has 20 sides. We then hauled them to the township compost site. 5 years ago, I bought an Agri-fab lawn vacuum. Youngest Granddaughter (older one is college grad now) still pulled the lawn sweep but would just dump them whenever it was full and then we pulled the vacuum around and I walked with the hose to suck up the piles. When vac was full, I could back it up to the top of a 30 landscape retaining wall and dump them into the trailer sitting down below. Now, no more helpers available. Youngest granddaughter is in college and working at Cabela's. Last year, I bought a Gravely zero turn to mow with instead of the Jubilee and 6' Woods. I now pull the vac with the Gravely and catch the mulched leaves exiting the mower. I keep the deck at 4 to minimize grass clippings. I dump all in one area and use my sons Jubillee/loader to scoop them into the trailer. I may have to either get another loader tractor or build a ramp to get the Agri-fab vac high enough to dump into the trailer. We haul about 200 bushels of mulched leaves to the township. To be continued next year.

There is now a growing market for "As found" machines. Which as machines get rarer, has found the birth of a new industry....one of the "procurement agent".
