On them puppys it is a lot of injection knock / rattle what ever ya want to call it and yes the exhaust is a BIt loud and yes you may find a quieter Muffler that will Muffle it more . On the I H's i work on if you want to tame lest say and 706-806 down then use the muffler off the 56 series tractors. When your old and 3/4 Deff after years of loud engines heavy equipment and gun fire and explosions I am not the one to say if it loud .
