Are you using a block heater? If its starting harder the colder the temps get, I would be plugging it in and warming the block before starting. Done cattle chores for a guy for awhile if he needed me to when he was away. He had multiple tractors including a 3010 he didn't use all that much. If it wasn't plug in when it was cold, it always needed a little nose candy. One time, I needed to move it out of the way in pretty short order, and didn't have it plugged in. I had to use nose candy, and didn't think I was going to get it started. It started fine in warmer temps, ran ok, and didn't use any oil as I recall.
