There was talk of shortages in some stuff even before the past weekend disaster on the West coast. Our biggest port, Vancouver, was completely cut off from the rest of Canada due to floods taking out the highways. Even the rail lines are questionable at this point. Sounds like our grain movement to port might come to a standstill. Herbicides like Glyphosate were already short by harvest time and prices doubled before they ran out. Will we have them for next spring? Fertilizer? At this point it is all a big question mark and I'm a little concerned.
