Ive seen some odd things going on with PVC related items.A plastic part for a Stihl saw has ben on backorder now for months.I needed five ten foot lengths of three inch PVC for a little job, yesterday Lowes was out.At 7 this morning they had 30 in stock.I went there and there was a cart sitting in front of the rack, full of the pipe. The guy that worked there said it must be there to be put away.He helped me load 5 of them.I paid, loaded them in my truck,A guy came running out saying I had taken his pipe.I asked if he had a job going where he needed it today, and he told me that he was just stockpiling it because of the shortage.I drove off. They told me at Lowes they are getting it OK,but stock is a little spotty because of the hoarders.
