We had deer in the yard last night. Just got about 5" of white stuff, so they were getting hungry. One young doe even came up and started eating the flower tips off of the wife's plants. Probably doesn't matter as it'll be several months before they bloom again, but the wife wasn't too happy about that part.
Today is last day of deer rifle season. So many deer around here that they hardly notice the hunters, except for opening weekend (last weekend).
Couple nights back had at least 20 deer in the yard. Snow came early and no signs of it leaving before Spring, so might be a pretty harsh season for them.
