My father in law had a little Vega that had a v8 put in it. He was really proud of that car and he put a toilet paper filter on it from JC Whitney. Anyway, when we would go to visit, we would always have to go look at the oil on the dipstick. It always looked almost like new oil! Maybe you could put on of those filters on that engine! Apparently the soot in the motor oil, doesn't cause much engine wear. All diesel have black oil!!!
