My F (F2? I forget which) Gleaner had a smell of smoke for a couple rounds, couldnt find anything years ago.
Bugged me enough I finally went home with it, poked around and the chaff from the beans somehow caked around the cross shaft the is down near the fan and tailings auger, the spinning shaft had a lot smoldering, once I disturbed things the smoldering got worse as it got oxygen. Got a little exciting for a bit, as there was only an inch to get to the area, and little slots on the sides....
