Jim my memory is a little fuzzy since I was loader shopping years ago but best I can remember for an IH brand you had to go with a model 2250 and get the correct mounting plates for it. I didn't have any luck finding a good used one with the mounting plates so I went with a new Woods model 1027 with quick attach bucket/ forks. The plates for it fit from a 454 up to the C 60 - 70 series tractors. One thing I liked about this setup was it tied the clutch bell housing to the front bolster as where some just attached to the bell housing pads. It's been a reliable and handy piece of equipment.

Although he himself has never actually owned or restored a tractor, he was always enthusiastic and always around helping with other peoples projects.
