Dad bought a new Cub Cadet 125 back in 1970+/-.
He made a belly grader blade out of 4x4 angle iron. It utilized the stock deck lifting mechanism. And the hinge point was at the rear axle. When grading the drive you could put enough down pressure on the deck lift handle to cut into virgin dirt. Worked great.
