I'm a red guy altho I've got a John Deere 3020 (for sale) and an Oliver 1850. I've been living on this farm I purchased ten years ago this coming spring. I've enjoyed some of the handles of the people on here. I think of rust red, Delta Red, TX Jim, red for life, etc. All this time I've been trying to think of a name for my farm. I live on York Creek Road. I have miniature Hereford cattle and draft horses and old machinery. I think I finally have the name. It probably should be FFF farm. The FFF can stand for lots of things but my buddy has suggested: Forever Fixin' Farmalls. I think that may be the most appropriate of all. Currently I have a 1926 McCormick Deering 10-20; a 1939 Farmall H; two 1955 Farmall 300's (one is a parts machine); a 1959 Farmall 460; a 1962 Farmall 504; a 1964 John Deere 3020; a 1965 Oliver 1850 and a 2017 Farmall 75C.

At this age, I believed tractor farming was the only way, hot stuff -- and given a chance I probably would have used the tractor, Dad's first, a 1936 Model "A" John Deere, to go bring in the cows! And I think Dad was ready for some automation too. And so it was that we acquired a good, used J. I. Case, wire tie hay baler. In addition to a person to drive th
