I like the idea of an old truck that drives like a new one. Can't stand the looks of any new ones plus the myriad of electronics and chips and their potential failure.
I haven't actually driven an upgraded vintage truck yet. So far I guess my 40 year old GMC fills the bill. Its simple, reliable, good looking. And its still one of the best riding and handling vehicles I've ever been in. I've owned it since 86 and it has worked hard for me.
