Hi Bruce ..... a few of the Americans say they're crowding $4 per gallon but most are less, some near $3 per gallon. Gas Buddy has average prices across Canada and they say that today in Ontario for example where you live that the average price is $1.45 per litre (not too much more than here near Edmonton). So take that and multiply by 3.78 (the number of litres in a US gallon) and then multiply that by about $0.80 (approximately the current exchange rate). That comes out to $4.38 USD per US gallon. Yes, some are approaching that down south but most are somewhat lower still, some considerably lower depending on what considerably means. No doubt though that the spread seems to be lessening.
