Did you strip it down to the short block only with nothing connected to the crankshaft and try it? With all the things you mentioned frozen, maybe they were what wouldn't move, not the crankshaft and mounted components. I had a problem with a newly purchased, used vehicle and it turned out that the alternator was frozen and preventing normal rotation of the engine proper. Almost burned up a brand new starter that I had just replaced thinking it was the problem.....12 year old car that was born in the rust belt.
