This baler has never seen the inside of a shed. Or had the chaff blown off of it. Anyway he says it makes a ragged bale. Wanted to see if I could sharpen the plunger knife. So I cleaned it out and rolled the plunger alongside the cutoff on the chamber. I could stick my fingers in between the knife and the cutoff even though the knife was past the cutting point. Should the knife be sharp and should the cutoff have a square edge. How far apart should they be? Is there adjustment?
