Complain to the crowd about how slow the sale is going, but then continue to sell choice! If the auctioneer does wanna wait while the top bidder paws thru boxes trying to decide which ones they want, they should probably quit doing it!
Dealership sellout in Cuba city, WI. They had three long trailers of manuals, brochures, etc. auctioneer whined all the way through them about people paying hundredish dollars per book, and then only taking 3 or 4. He sold THOUSANDS of dollars on those three trailers. I sure was getting sick of him blaming us for the speed of his sale. Auctioneer sets the pace.
