The round up brush and poison ivy killer has Triclopyr in it. While Round Up; Glyphosate; works great on grass and other green leafy plants it does not do a great job on woody plants.
I suggest you save your Round Up and get something specifically made to kill brush and vines. Some of these guys can comment better but I'm thinking Remedy is made with Triclopyr. Remedy mixed with diesel will kill even the hard to kill woody plants. For your small area buying a small bottle of brush; vine and stump killer at your local store would be best.
