Radial tires are only good for six years. I've had a blowout before on a parked trailer. I also have had three trucks and two trailers damaged by radial tires delaminating. It's like running re-treads to have radial tires on a vehicle. You can't go by the appearance of a tire or the amount of tread you have to find the date of manufacturer.
