the 282 in the 660 runs at 2400 rpm under load, while the 282 in the 560 runs at 1800 rpm under load. and they do sound nice hummimng along as you say. its actually getting hard to find nice original 660's. this one is the first year out, 1959 and has the half fenders as i call them. got 3 1959's and all these fenders. the other ones have the full fenders over the tire. the one i use in field is 1961. i am in central alberta.
