Hi Dale. Yes we had 431's - my dad bought a new one in 1962 (early production) and used it up until 1972. I bought a used one in 1975 and run it through 1978. They're the same as Oliver 431s and Minneapolis 4290/4292's, all made at the Brantford Ontario factory. Eventually they morphed into 542's and 5542 models that were produced until the mid 1980's. Good, simple machines, good capacity for their day.
