Here where I am it all depends what class license you have. If you have any sort of CDL the way you have it you would have been parked no questions asked. Here a tractor has to have chains or straps rated ate 2 or 3 times the weight of the machine your hauling. Plus if you have a CDL and riding with someone that has something like that not only can the driver get a ticket but the rider can too. BTDT and have had more then one person I know who wasn't the driver get a ticket because he/she had a CDL
