if you had to make a emergency stop, or worse rear end someone do you believe that tractor would stay on the trailer? i don't think the single strap on the back tires would prevent the tractor from perhaps ending up crushing you in the cab. i lost my brother in law on a motor cycle trip because of $4.00 dollar tie downs. i'm sure you're a nice guy. i enjoy reading your posts, but good straps/chain don't really cost that much. especially compared to what that tractor coming off the trailer would cost you. you could very well injure someone that doesn't even know what a tractor is.
