Where I get tires they automatically add road hazard onto the cost of a tire. One time I ran over a screwdriver right at the side wall and they replaced the tire at no charge so I guess it's worth it. Most of the time it's just a tire patch. They do good at that too. They will remove the wheel weights, patch the tire and re-balance the tire.
