A low oil pressure switch is about the only option, even that will take some plumbing and wiring.
A good possibility it might false alarm at low idle when hot, but then it might save the engine.
I had the same problem with the old forklift at work. They would run it out of gas or couldn't figure out the choke, get off leave the ignition on. I put a strobe light on, it needed that anyway. But it solved the key left on problem!
