Bait, but DO NOT set the traps for several days. Let them learn to eat off the trap without harm. Place several traps along the walls where they run. Let them run over the traps without harm. Let them get used to the bait and traps you are using. Rice or animal feed. Then one evening set all the traps...4 or 5. They are very smart. You must be creative. I do not want to poison them due to the smell.
