If you're using roundup why do you think you need the vinegar? And yes acid like even vinegar left in a sprayer will cause things to not work later by rusting or eroding things. If you want the roundup to work better use some surfactant and crop oil with a bit of ammonium sulfate. The AMS conditions the water the crop oil helps it stick to the plant. Not just sure what the surfactant does. And if you have to ask some of these questions you should probably not be using the chemical.
