Looking at a fairly nice 3 point hitch 8 foot Kodiak bush hog type mower model HD8. Appears solid from pictures. Current owner says it has been in the shed a few years. Two oil seals were out from the main center gear box to one side. Owner replaced the two on top and added oil and now says the bottom oil seal down by the blades on one side is leaking. He is currently replacing that seal if he can get it apart. Anyone have a Kodiak 2 blade HD8 mower? Owner says the center gear box is rated at 100 horsepower and the sides might be 90 horsepower each.
