I did one this week on my BN. I bought a used steering column to replace the beat one that came with the tractor. Thought it would be good to paint up the spots with no paint so they wouldn't rust. Now I can't shut off the tractor (its a mag) because there is no ground through the steering post due to the paint I put on. I knew that before and knew it after but didn't know it while putting on the steering column. Can't explain that. I tell people my moto is if a job is worth doing at all it worth doing at least twice.
