About this time of the year I get calls for mowing, from people in a panic, who wait until the last day on their notice from the fire dept to cut their weeds. It happened today. I took a look at the field. Rocks everywhere. If it wasn't for the rocks it would have been a good job, dry wild oats about 2 ft tall. I have a friend starting out with a skid steer. It has a mower mounted in front. He may be able to see the rocks better, and go around them. 15 years ago I may have tackled a job like that. My 6 ft woods mower is beat up from jobs like that in the past. I wouldn't think of using my flail mower in a field full of rocks. Stan
