I've got 24 acres that's been on the ground for a week now, 20 more to cut. It didn't rain Sunday, hadn't rained by 2 o'clock yesterday, not much on the radar, so I went and raked 4 rounds. I figured out out pretty quick, that wasn't a good idea. It was kinda dry on top, but yellow and wet underneath. I check it at 4, still wet streaks on each side. At 5 we got another heavy rain, dumped .4. I'm going up on a few minutes with the rotary rake with the side gate off and try to sling it back out. I think my experiment with leaving it on the ground and mixing it with the second cutting is going to happen. Looks like more rain is on the way. 5.4 now since 1 o'clock last Thursday.
