My uncle brush painted his old plumbing van. Can't tell the difference driving down the street. Have to stand up close to spot any brush marks. Unless it is a parade/show dump truck, I wouldn't spend too much on an perfect auto paint job for a working dump truck that no one is really going to look at or care especially if you just want to keep it from rusting. Can't keep paint on a dump bed anyway so it will never look like a showroom truck. Get an HVLP sprayer and some tractor paint.
