Well, looks like more head scratching that answers :-) Couple of open ended questions and more info from me. Does the cast MF logo clench it that this is a Massey cylinder head? If it is, can we assume that since in 1953 it went from Massey-Harris to Massey Ferguson it is post 1953? I did screw in a spark plug into the holes and they fit fine. BUT, do injectors have the same thread pitch??? The holes do seem kind of deep for spark plug.
I am going to do some more searching with the idea it might be a diesel.
