A test light is needed. Starting with the idea that reading voltage with a meter can show voltage through connections that will not allow useful current flow. Put the tester clip on the ground battery terminal (not the clamp, the actual stud out of the battery) then touch the hot post and see the light. Now put the clip on the ground battery clamp, same test. Now go to the tractor frame and check the hot terminal If light now, keep going from point to point making sure the light continues to glow. at some connection, or switch there will be no light. You have found the issue. Probable is a bad terminal, or a broken wire. Jim
