Our school system painted most of the buss tops white. Our motorhome is as big as a school bus so I painted it with Hy-Tech Bus Kote #2150 Bus & Recreational Vehicle Coating. This is the same the school busses around here use. I got enough for only 4 coats. (they recommend at least 2 so I used all I bought) Before I painted it I parked it outside for a week waxing the sides. Wife recorded temperatures inside as well as National Weather Service temperatures at 2:00PM each day. Then I painted the top and let it dry or cure for a week. After painting, we recorded average of 15 degrees cooler inside.
