I have not have not worked on a 5050 so can help you much on that front. Do you have a shop/service manual for it? That should have some info.
You might try posting on the Allis Chalmers Forum on this site, someone with some hands on knowledge of your model might see it quicker there. You could fill in some blanks as well in that post. Post the manufacturer and model. How long have you had the tractor? Was it work and just quit? Or did you purchase it not working? What exactly have you done to it so far? Where is the pump driven from? Does it have a coupling that could shear, check that.
