Big Muskie had a 220 yard bucket.The machine itself was sold to a scrapper for $375000.What fascinated me as a kid about Big Muskie was the fact that it ran off a big extension cord,tied into the power grid that passed by the site.My uncle was a rep for Bucyrus Erie during the time it was developed,and built.He didn't rep for that division of the company,but everybody that worked for them was aware on a day to day basis of how the project progressed.After it had been in service a few years a slightly bigger machine was built in Germany,that one was named The Captain.
