I never saw what he actually installed to replace the points. Initially he had attached a little plastic module on the side of the engine that was in around the $30 price range. They he found a good used engine that still had it's electronic ignition parts that would fit right onto mine. Thats what is in it now but I could'nt tell you much about what it looks like or how it works. But it sure works. Starts and runs better than it ever did.
