Hey Traditional Farmer-Your post a couple of weeks ago about if you have thistles in your corn field the soil is out of balance--never heard that and farmed for 45 years. Well I was driving the Gator next to one of my Son's corn fields and low and behold there was some thistles in it! It was lucky for us that I had a pump-up sprayer with 2-4D spiked with some Basagram with me--I gave them a blast and guess what? They are dying--It must have brought the soil back in balance! It proves that those expensive soil test we use are useless! I always thought if your soil was fertile anything would grow---Tee Soil out of balance--Kenyon loam Soil back in balance--Thanks to 2-4D and Basagram
