Received the new single-groove piston and seals for my MF 30B. I have had the darnedest time getting them installed, and after installing they seem waaay too stretched out to now fit the piston into my cylinder. Even compressing with a oil filter wrench just made a section bow up even worse.
What advice and techniques do folks recommend?
Is my stretched out Teflon seal shot now? Or is there a way to somehow shrink it back into the groove once it is lined up?
