Looking for help to answer questions about the hydraulic pump in a 460 utility tractor. This pump has a "piggy-back" pump attached to the main hydraulic pump.
Is there a way to test the "piggy-back" to be sure that the problem is only related to the main pump itself?
New and rebuilt pumps are available for this part number 70935C91 but I am finding no information about the "piggy-back" pump that is attached to the pump itself.
Is there a simple way to test the pump?
It certainly made the grinding noise when it quit working. Some very small metal shavings trapped in the filter. Oil was super clean with no 'milky' color present and no other debris in the filter.
