I stand corrected. Just always thought the bigger battery would last a little longer cranking on diesels. I got a 31D at Sam's a couple months ago for 109 bux and the bigger 4D was 149 bux and the 8D was 199 bux. Sam's carries the Duracell brand.
Two 31D's would be about the same price as an 8D.
If OP still has the connector cable, he could still slip another battery if needed during the winter. I use a battery booster when something needs a jumpstart.
