I pull a 12/23 kinze with a 2294 Case (130 horse 2 wheel drive). They are a very well matched pair until you get in mud. Neighbor pulls almost the same planter (his is one year newer) a 200 horse magnum, he used to pull it with a 3594 Case (180 horse MWFD) and once again does just fine until it gets muddy.
I really like my Kinze only fault I would have with it is it's weight. When you get into a wet spot and start sinking it is like a lead balloon.
Both mine and the neighbors are 3650's ie it has the older style bulk fill with augers instead of fans.
Your 180 horse Massey will be a excellent match with a 16/31 Kinze just make sure the hydraulics can handle the fan if that is the style of bulk fill you get.
