My uncle had a hay drier in the 60s. It consisted of a slat platform under a roof with a New Holland unit on wheels that blew hot air into the platform that the small squares were stacked on. The bales came out of the field, were stacked on the drier, and the heater/blower dried them. They were then stacked on a truck and hauled five miles to the home farm where the cattle were. He had three strong backed sons. I was there five years ago and I could see the remains of it.
