Yes, there is snootiness out there. The club I belonged to years ago was nearly 30 miles away as I had virtually no chance to join the local one. But there are people out there who would start their own but they don't have the money as they have mortgage payments, vehicle payments, kids, etc. to be concerned about. Having events such as a plow day maintains interest in older tractors and equipment for those that tire of just looking at something in a shed. I wish there was a picker day in the fall but nobody around does such an event. And once again it will not matter if you are not invited to it.
