Why? Because metal poles are higher priced and utility companies have money to burn since they can pass the cost onto the customer. Have you ever seen a utility get tools from HF? Have you ever seen them do anything without a few supervisors to watch? Have you ever seen a utility over-engineer a project to death with countless engineers and still not get it right? I could keep going but would need another cup of coffee.
