[quote="CVPost-tomstractorsandtoy"](quoted from post at 05:43:54 04/19/21) We finally got the 71 back together after fixing a bad shaker drive and replacing 4 bearings. Shelled about 800 bu so far and hope to finish the crib today. Goes slow working alone as I have to stop and empty the cobs out of the manure spreader twice for every load of corn. Here are a few pics of just shelling off a wagon. It is set at the corn crib now. Tom

In your other post I was going to ask you what brand of sheller you have but this one answered my question. I never did work behind a Deere sheller very often. The neighbor had a guy come with a truck mounted Deere but the rest MM. We hauled the cobs to the cattle yard to give the cattle a dry place to lay. That pile was hauled out and spread on the oat stubble in August. Dad had a Caswell loader on a Deere A to load the two spreaders. My sis drove the 630 Deere pulling a Deere L spreader if I remember right and I drove the 35 A pulling a Deere N spreader.
