This was my mother in laws Grandfather s IH dealership in New Egypt New Jersey. The story I was told was Grandpa had an IH manure spreader that was broken and needed parts. There were no local dealers and he wrote to the Company inquiring about parts. IH asked if he would like to be a dealer. Not sure of the years he was in business
