Been using sized seed for a while and one thing I've found is very few seed companies size seed acutely these days. Seems they can get uniform size and shape in the bags but those sizes very from company to company and year to year. Last year my seed bags said medium flat seed and were all the same, but required my extra small flat plate. Last year the same brand and size seed took small flat plate. The proper way is to by the size and shape seed you prefer, then match it to the proper plate.
