Ray, I am thankful she got this solved. On nearly all new cars and trucks, especially the ones that have the remote starter with the key fob and the push button start stop feature those key fobs are extremely expensive to replace. Like three to four hundred dollars to replace. The blanc has to be ordered from the dealership which normally means they have to order it from the company as they don't normally stock all the different ones and then the dealership has to program the right code into the blanc taken from the vin number and then cut the internal emergency door lock key. I think that there are six different things that the fob does all with it's separate code. Still kind of neat how you have that fob in your pocket and just touch the door handle and the car will open up or lock and swing in the mirrors as you walk away from it. Also if it is too hot or too cold you can start it up remotely and either have it warmed up or cooled down by the time you get to your car.
