Dog on it with the apron. After you get this load pitched off you might just as well bite the bullet and buy a new apron. I know the cost is more than the spreader is worth but you do not want to pitch any more loads off by hand. As soon as the first link broke on my bale conveyor I replaced the whole chain. No more down time and no more suspense while you are using it.
